This video documents the start of a pro peace march that traveled from Delores Park in the Mission to Jefferson park in the Western Addition. Several thousand people gathered at the sunny hillside park to express their outrage and opposition to the Bush Administration's policy of imperialism and racism at home, in the Middle East and around the world. September 24th has been a day of protest against the war in Iraq since before the official start of the invasion , and we the conscious citizens of the United States continue to resist this immoral and illegal occupation of the sovereign country of Iraq.
