For those of you who don't know him, this is a side of Sean that only rarely comes out.

Have you ever had noisy neighbors? I've had to move twice because of idiots like Sean. There's only one thing more infuriating than someone trespassing on my peace and quiet, and that's someone who does so and 1) doesn't apologize for it and 2) continues to f**k me. Jerk.

Some people like to think they have a higher moral ground, remain anonymous and talk shit. That's too bad. Sean is not one of those people and I admire him for that. He will aways confront someone as directly and non-violently as possible.

For those of you who are missing the context of the situation, it is not my intent to always explain who or what you see here. As burntwire.tv has developed over the last months, it has begun to define itself more clearly as a personal and social history for those involved (my friends mostly). We have no illusion that we are saving the world or doing grass-roots journalism or that we are even running a "show". This is just slice-of-life (documentary) interspersed with whatever short films or other projects that we may happen to be working on. If you want to watch or participate, cool but I will not apologize for a piece of content and I may never give full context so if you don't know us and you think you don't like us then fuck off... simple. We probably won't like you either.

Now here's some context: This was not a planned event. I just happened to have my camera nearby. We live in a lightless dump of a place where even a hard core rockstar would have a hard time making as much noise as the restaurant downstairs from 8am to 8pm! I work at home to the sound of banging metal trays, bad music and a vibrating floor. I put up and tune it out. I assume that everyday from 8 to 8 my environment is going to be noisy which means no naps, no voice over recording.

When we jam, we usually stop playing at 9 even though there's some rule that says 10, apparently. Sean came home at about 4 or 5 and jammed out by himself for maybe 45 minutes and leaves. 2 hours later the cops show up and THREATEN TO ARREST our other housemate Brendon. Did Brendon deserve that? Was Sean in the wrong? Probably, but its moot, because anyone who really wants peace and quiet could not live here. If I complained to the restaurant about their music and ventilation system everyday it would be pointless.

That is why we live in the ghetto. If you want peace and quiet, move to the suburbs!

As a resident of San Francisco-- and longtime Mission dweller, everyone who moves into the neighborhood should have to watch this video.
